OCRR (pronounced "Oh See Arrrr") is a pirate-themed macOS application developed by Landon Alexander ("Developer") based in California. This Privacy Policy outlines how OCRR handles your privacy.

OCRR respects your privacy and does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. All OCR processing is completed locally on your Mac using built‑in Apple technologies. Internet access is only required for processing purchases through the Mac App Store.

2. Subscriptions and Trials

OCRR offers a 1-week free trial. After this trial period, continued use requires an annual subscription through the Mac App Store. The subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Subscriptions are securely handled by Apple's infrastructure, and the Developer does not access your payment details. You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal through your App Store account settings.

3. Third-Party Services

OCRR does not use analytics or advertising platforms, and does not transmit your data to any external servers. All document and image processing is performed locally on your device using integrated and local libraries. No cloud-based services are used for OCR or image correction features.

4. Children's Privacy

OCRR is not designed for children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect any personal information from minors.

5. Feature Acknowledgment

OCRR leverages several Apple technologies, including:

Continuity Camera: OCRR uses the Continuity Camera feature available on iPhone, iPad, and macOS. This feature is provided by Apple through its integrated ecosystem and is used in compliance with Apple's guidelines.
Platform Integration: The App is designed for use on macOS, and is compatible with Apple devices such as iPhone and iPad.
